Mark 4:21-25 NKJV
21 Also He said to them, “Is a lamp brought to be put under a basket or under a bed? Is it not to be set on a lampstand? 22 “For there is nothing hidden which will not be revealed, nor has anything been kept secret but that it should come to light. 23 “If anyone has ears to hear, let him hear.” 24 Then He said to them, “Take heed what you hear. With the same measure you use, it will be measured to you; and to you who hear, more will be given. 25 “For whoever has, to him more will be given; but whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken away from him.”
Truth hurts sometimes ….. but, when you take it in with the pain, it goes deep …. and it will take roots and grow. If you reject the pain, you will reject the truth also.
Things are revealed now, brothers and sisters, and they are not pretty.
I am losing “so-called” friends left and right for telling the truth. All I can do is to pray for them so that they will see and they will harken. “Love” is becoming such an empty word now.
12 “And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold.
But, do you want “friends” that disappear for telling the truth or the Word that is incorruptible? That is a no-brainer, isn’t it?
And, how about this ….. that “friends” includes YOU.
That is the part of you, which you “loved” and are hanging onto …. things that make you feel “good” about yourself …. sort of speak. When you accept a truth, you would need to give up a piece of you too … your …. this little thing called …. ego.
Yea …. truth tells you that you were wrong …. you were fooled …. you were not so “spiritual” after all … Been there, done that …
Now, that’s the hardest part … and the part that makes you forget that the Word is eternal.
We are being tested. Our Father is shaking us up. But, He has hidden His truth in the deceptions. We are to find them.
And, first, we MUST expose the darkness.
11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them. 12 For it is shameful even to speak of those things which are done by them in secret. 13 But all things that are exposed are made manifest by the light, for whatever makes manifest is light. 14 Therefore He says:
“Awake, you who sleep, Arise from the dead,
And Christ will give you light.”
15 See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise, 16 redeeming the time, because the days are evil. 17 Therefore do not be unwise, but understand what the will of the Lord is.
Light exposes what is in the darkness …. are you? … for your are a light!
35 “Therefore take heed that the light which is in you is not darkness. 36 “If then your whole body is full of light, having no part dark, the whole body will be full of light, as when the bright shining of a lamp gives you light.”
And, as I referenced in the beginning …
“For whoever has, to him more will be given; but whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken away from him.”
…. is so true ….. it applies to “truth” also. When you seek, He will reveal it to you more …. and when you reject truth, you will remain in the darkness.
And, know this …
3 “Therefore whatever you have spoken in the dark will be heard in the light, and what you have spoken in the ear in inner rooms will be proclaimed on the housetops.
… and, our Father knows what we speak in our heart too.
Have NO fellowship with darkness!
Expel any darkness from your mind and heart!
If you avoid the truth now because it hurts,
that’s a darkness in your heart you are keeping.
Repent of every little thing you can think of, every day.
Humble yourself before Him, for He is the Truth.
When you reject the truth …. you reject Him.
Love you, my brothers and sisters …. and I mean it.
